Power calculation method of live welding machine for diesel generator set:
The actual current of the welder is multiplied by 0.04, plus 20, equal to the load voltage
The load voltage is multiplied by current equal to the power of the welder
When the power 220V voltage of the welder is multiplied by 1.7380v, multiplied by 1.4, this is the factor of the loss and the power of the welder, and the minimum power of the generator is obtained.
In actual sales, the generator power is greater than the calculated power.
For example, the actual current of the machine is 160A
Calculate the power size of the generator set:
160A*0.04+20=26.4V
26.4V*160A=4224W
4224W*1.7 is equal to 7180W, that is to say, the machine needs at least 8KW watts or more generators to use.

Formula:
1, 220V voltage: (welding machine current *0.04+20) * welding machine current *1.7= required generator power
2, 380V voltage: (welding machine current *0.04+20) * welding machine current *1.4= required generator power
